Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
Location:
The Meadows and Addison Close.
Issue:
Drug related ASB has raised a number of concerns for the local community who are affected on a daily basis by the behaviours of those living at and visiting specific addresses.
Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Hotspot patrols,
- Collaboration with the Community Safety partnership and housing providers to consider a wider range of interventions,
- Engagement with the local community to truly understand the impact and gain information and intelligence,
- Take robust action where offences exist.

June Update:
- A closure order in the Meadows has now been implemented,
- Ongoing work with partners is still taking place,
- Proactive patrols and engagement with the community continues.

Shoplifting
Location:
Morrisons, Bell Street - Shaftesbury
Issue:
The store has seen an increase in offending, causing financial losses to the store and concern in the local community.
Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Targeting of offenders
- High Visibility patrols
- Collaboration with partners including housing providers to consider other more lasting interventions
- Engagement with the store on prevention and detection .

- We have prosecuted a repeat offender,
- An exclusion order has been issued to an individual banning them from some retail locations,
- We continue to work with the store,
- Reports of theft have reduced to 2 in the past 31 days.
