Each ward area has a dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Team, supported by a Neighbourhood Enforcement team and Rural crime team that collaborate with partners and stakeholders to target activity, tackling issues that are important to local communities.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)
Location:
Trinity Road
Issue:
Drug related ASB in the area at all times of day and night, blighting the lives of local residents.
Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Work cohesively with housing providers.
- Work in collaboration with the the local authority Community safety partnership.
- Encourage reporting and engage with residents.
- Develop intelligence to consider wider interventions.
- Hotspot patrols

ASB Driving
Location:
Car Parks High Street Gillingham
Issue:
Young people with car driving in an anti-social manner and causing damage to the toilets.
Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Proactive Hotspot patrols.
- Working with Local authority to ensure security measure are implemented and fit for purpose.
- Use of of road traffic legislation- Including section 59 notices.
- Community contact points to allow the public to report direct.
