Residential related Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) involving noise and drug activity
Location:
Abbotsbury Road
Issue:
Noise, drug activity and multiple visitors to a residential address are causing distress to other residents in the area
Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Partnership working with local housing providers and other key agencies to tackle the ASB
- Engagement with local residents to provide advice, support and reassurance
- Targeted patrols of the area at relevant times to monitor the situation and take action where possible
- Explore the potential deployment of mobile CCTV in the area

Anti-social use of vehicles
Location: The Esplanade + Lodmoor Park & Ride site
Issue:
Vehicles are being used and driven in an anti-social manner around Weymouth causing annoyance and distress to local residents - issues include speeding, wheel spins, loud music and noisy exhausts
Planned action to tackle this issue:
- Targeted patrols at key times (local officers and specialist teams)
- Robust enforcement action where evidence allows, including vehicle seizures
- Partnership working with key agencies and businesses to look at long term solutions
- Engagement with local residents to provide advice and reassurance
