    Apr Update:
Officers continue to attend regular meetings with a range of partner agencies, to share information and work collaboratively towards diverting vulnerable women out of street sex working.

Officers monitor intelligence on a daily basis and this ensures that patrols in the area are focussed. Any persons intent on offending and exploiting others, are targeted for Police intervention and action. We are intelligence led and the action taken is stopping people in vehicles, utilising stop and search powers, making arrests and even visiting people at home who may have been identified as being active in the area. This work continues.

    Mar Update:
Officers conducted a walk around with the local MP, to engage with the community and discuss local concerns and issues in the area. This was a great opportunity to showcase the work the team are doing in the area and how we can work with various partners to keep improving community safety.

Officers regularly conduct proactive patrols and we continue with this, offering safeguarding advice where relevant and stopping potential kerb crawlers and issuing Community Protection Warning notices to ban them from the area. This is a great disruption tactic for those intent on offending and exploitation.

    Feb Update:
A vehicle was loitering in the area and made off from Police, it was stopped and seized and the driver arrested for driving offences, drug offences and issued a Community Protection Warning notice for his behaviour in the area.
