As part of our Christmas safety campaign, we are advising retailers and shoppers to take extra measures to avoid being victims of crime.
We are encouraging shoppers, when parking, to park their vehicles in a well-lit area after dark, ensure their vehicle is locked and to never leave valuables on display.
We are urging retailers to keep valuable stock away from doors and window displays and locate it where staff can best see it. Clear and uncluttered aisles will improve sight lines, as well as the shopping experience for those looking to purchase items.
A range of posters are available to support these messages. These can be downloaded and displayed where appropriate.
