As we reached the end of the 3 year programme to increase Police Officer numbers within Dorset Police, in line with the Government’s pledge to put an additional 20,000 police officers on the streets of the UK by the end of March 2023, we are proud to see the significant increase in women who have joined us. In reviewing the end date numbers we are delighted to see we have recruited xx women police officers during this period.
Members of Positive Action Team have spent the year being out and about within our communities to share the opportunities we have to offer. We have proactively sought out groups where women attend in greater numbers.
