Witness appeal after collision near Poole

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward following a road traffic collision near Poole – with two men being arrested.
At around 7.25pm on Wednesday 9 March 2016, a red Chrysler Voyager collided with the central reservation close to the Bakers Arms roundabout on the Upton bypass.
A search of the area was carried out with support of the NPAS helicopter to locate one of the suspected occupants.
No one was injured in the collision.
A 40-year-old man from Wareham was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and a 23-year-old man from London was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and possession of a class A drug. Both are on police bail until the beginning of May 2016 pending further enquiries.
Investigations Officer Adam Carter, of Dorset Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or manner of driving of the vehicle beforehand to contact me on 101.”
