Tribute to man killed in fatal collision on A354
The family of a man who tragically died in a collision on the A354 between Weymouth and Dorchester have paid tribute to him.
At approximately 12.13pm on Saturday 5 December 2015 a serious road traffic collision occurred involving a black Suzuki motorcycle and a red Jaguar XF saloon.
Sadly the motorcycle rider, 31-year-old Adam Tyson of Weymouth, died at the scene.
The driver of the Jaguar, a 66-year-old man from the Weymouth area, and an adult and child passenger suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Dorset County Hospital as a precaution.
Adam’s family have issued the following statement: “Adam was a special soul and he lived for his passion for motorcycling.
“The whole family are absolutely heartbroken at our loss."
Police Sergeant Dave Stroud, of Dorset Police’s Traffic Unit, said: “We have been investigating the circumstances of the collision and I would like to renew our appeal for anyone who saw either vehicle prior to or at the time of the collision to please contact us on 101.”
