Spate of damage to cars in Corfe Mullen

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after an alleged spate of criminal damage to cars in Corfe Mullen – with three people being arrested.

The incidents happened some time between 3am and 5am on Saturday 26 July 2014 on Highfield Road, Rushcombe Way, Ralph Road, Phelipps Road, Gurney Road, Brook Lane and Olivia Road.

At least 12 cars were found to have suffered broken wing mirrors, smashed windscreens or smashed windows.

Detective Inspector Richard Dixey, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: “These damages have caused the owners great inconvenience and expense.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have information about any of these incidents to call police in confidence.

“I also would like to encourage anyone who has had their property damaged in this way, and has not already reported it to police, to come forward.”

Two local men, aged 19 and 18, and a local 17-year-old girl have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
