Murderers of Angelo Rodrigues are convicted

The neighbours of a murdered Bournemouth man have been found guilty of his killing today – following a detailed investigation by the Major Crime Investigation Team.

A 40-year-old man, James Kinsley, and a 56-year-old woman, Tracey Mansell stabbed their neighbour, Angelo Rodrigues, at his home address along Coleman Road in Bournemouth on Friday 27 July 2012.

Angelo Rodrigues, 44, was pronounced dead at his Kinson home. The cause of death was determined as multiple stab wounds.

Kinsley and Mansell were found guilty of murder at Winchester Crown Court today, Tuesday 29 January 2013.

The jury arrived at their verdict after an eleven-day trial.

Following the conviction, Detective Inspector Marcus Hester, of the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “This case involved a sudden attack on a man in his own home by his neighbours over a complaint about noise.

“The jury has listened to all the evidence and has reached the correct verdict. Tomorrow Tracey Mansell and James Kinsley will face the consequences of their actions.

“It is very sad that a neighbourly dispute should result in such tragic circumstances. My sympathy goes out to Angelo’s family and friends.”

Tracey Mansell and James Kinsley are due to be sentenced at the Winchester Crown Court tomorrow, Wednesday 30 January 2013.
