Murder enquiry launched after man found dead in Bournemouth
Dorset Police can now confirm a murder investigation has been launched following the death of a man in Gloucester Road in Bournemouth today, Friday 11 October 2013.
Officers were called to a property at around 12.34pm following a concern for welfare.
A cordon remains in place at this time and the coroner is aware.
Next of kin have yet to be informed.
Detective Inspector Marcus Hester, of Bournemouth CID, said: “Following initial enquiries, we have now launched a murder investigation, and it is vital that anyone with any information contacts Dorset Police in confidence as soon as possible.
“Any witnesses should call 101 quoting incident number 11:46. Alternatively call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.”
