Misuse of Drugs Act Warrant executed in Wareham

A Misuse of Drugs Act warrant has been executed in Wareham, with a quantity of cannabis being found.

At approximately 8.30am on Thursday, 17 November 2011, officers in Wareham executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at an address on Folly Lane.

Officers found and seized a quantity of cannabis at the address – the amount of which is not being released.

A 42-year-old Wareham woman was arrested and issued with a police caution.

Purbeck Neighbourhood Inspector Tracey Baker said: “The execution of this warrant shows that we will not tolerate drug-related crime.

“I am committed to bringing these types of offences to justice, and I’d encourage anyone who believes drugs offences are taking places in their area to contact Dorset Police immediately so that we can take action.”
