Man found very seriously injured in Christchurch

Officers are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a man was found with very serious head injuries in Christchurch.

Officers are currently investigating a serious incident in Dudmoor FarmĀ Road in Christchurch at approximately midday on Monday 31 March 2014. Emergency services were called to attend the location in relation to a man located with serious head injuries.

Ambulance attended and treated the man for his injuries. He was transported to Southampton neurological department where he remains in a critical condition.

Police closed the road to allow expert collision investigators and CSI to examine the scene to ascertain what led to the man receiving these injuries.

A joint investigation is being conducted by Poole Traffic officers and detectives from Bournemouth CID.

Anyone who saw anything in the area of Dudmoor FarmĀ Road or Marsh Lane in Christchurch is asked to contact Dorset Police on 101.
