Man fallen from height in Bournemouth
At 1.40pm today Dorset Police received a request from the ambulance service to assist with the landing of the air ambulance helicopter in the centre of Bournemouth.
A man, believed to be in his forties from Bournemouth, had suffered a fall from a height into the Winter Gardens car park and suffered serious injuries.
At 2pm police assisted in closing the roads surrounding Exeter Crescent car park to facilitate the landing of the helicopter, however the injured man was too ill to be moved. Sadly at 2.35pm the man died.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
HM Coroner has been informed, however, his next of kin have yet to be notified.
