Kindle device recovered in Bournemouth
Detectives are appealing for the help of the public after officers in Bournemouth seized an Amazon Kindle device.
The device, which is used to read electronic books, was recovered after police arrested two men on suspicion of theft at an electrical store in central Bournemouth at around 3pm on Thursday, 7 April 2011.
The shop owner believed that the item was stolen and alerted the police.
Detective Constable Martin Farrington, of Bournemouth and Poole CID, said: "In order to progress this investigation, police are keen to identify the owner of the Amazon Kindle.
"I am appealing to anyone who has lost such a device in the last couple of weeks to contact the police.
"It’s quite possible that the owner has not yet realised that it is missing."
The two arrested men, aged 19 and 20 and both from Bournemouth, have been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
