Firearms recovered on Kinson Common - latest update

In relation to the operation following the discovery of a number of firearms on Kinson Common last weekend and further firearms recovered in the Redhill area, police have arrested a total of 10 people - with four men being charged.

Three men, aged 22, 42 and 21, have been charged with robbery. The 21-year-old man and another 20-year-old man have been charged with firearms offences. All four men will appear at Bournemouth Magistrates Court tomorrow Saturday 16 April 2011.

A 21-year-old local man remains in custody and is helping police with their enquiries.

Four men and one woman arrested during the operation have been released on police bail.

The robbery charges relate to a recent robbery at Bloxworth where a number of firearms were stolen.

Police continue to appeal to the local community for any information which may assist with their enquiries.
