Family of collision victim releases statement
The family of an 18-year-old woman who remains in hospital following a serious road traffic collision near Wimborne has issued a statement to the media.
Jade Hutchings was one of four occupants of a Volkswagen Polo involved in a single vehicle collision along Salisbury Street in Cranborne at approximately 10.39pm on Saturday 22 September 2012.
She was taken to Southampton General Hospital where she remains with life-threatening injuries.
Jade’s parents said: “We would like everyone to pray for our loving daughter.
“Our family and her friends are by her bedside.
“We would like to thank everyone who has sent their kind wishes. They will all be passed on.
“We ask to have our privacy respected in this difficult time.”
Jade is a full time student at Bournemouth and Poole College and just completed her first year in Travel and Tourism with a merit. She had just started her second year. She also works part time in Tesco Fleetsbridge.
