Criminal damage at miniature golf course in Poole

Police in Poole are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after criminal damage to an attraction in the town.

The incident, in which unknown offenders caused damage to the Crazy Golf course in Poole Park, happened sometime between 9pm on Sunday, 5 June and 7am on Monday, 6 June 2011.

Police Constable Simon Young, of Poole police, said: "Considerable damage has been caused to the golf course and the need for urgent repairs is clearly an inconvenience for the owners.

"One obstacle has been trodden on and several other items, including pipes and mats, have been torn off.

"I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this offence, and anyone who saw any suspicious activity in or around the Crazy Golf course during the evening of Sunday, 5 June or the early hours of Monday, 6 June, to contact me urgently."
