Bournemouth murder investigation - latest update
Dorset Police has arrested four suspects in connection with the events in Hawkwood Road near the junction with Sea Road yesterday, 7 April 2011.
Three local men aged 39, 40 and 49, and a 32-year-old woman from Bournemouth, continue to help police with their enquiries.
Detective Superintendent Sara Glen said: "Dorset Police would like to thank members of the public who came forward early to assist in this murder investigation. We are grateful for their support and as a result early arrests have been made. Whilst this investigation is in its infancy we can state that this is a contained incident and we are not looking for any further suspects.
"If any members of the public were in the vicinity of the junction of Sea Road and Hawkwood Road between 10.30pm and 11.15pm on Thursday, 7 April 2011, and believe they saw or heard an altercation, or if they have any information which may assist our investigation, please contact us as soon as possible."
Neighbourhood Chief Inspector Nicky Searle said: "There are no suspects outstanding in relation to the investigation at this time. I would like to reassure residents that there is no ongoing threat posed to the people of Boscombe as a result of this incident. Our Safer Neighbourhood Teams are working with the local community to ensure that any concerns regarding safety are addressed."

UPDATE - 9 April 2011
49-year-old Mark Haylock, of no fixed abode, has been charged today - Saturday 9 April 2011 - with murder.
A 39-year-old man has been released on police bail.
A 40-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have been released without charge.
