Missing Bournemouth Woman – Public Appeal

Officers are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Bournemouth woman and are appealing for the public’s help to find her – with a photo of her being released.

Linda Trim, 67 and from Bournemouth, was reported missing on Saturday 27 February 2016 after she failed to return to the Thornhill Hotel, Meyrick Park Crescent, where she had been staying for the past seven weeks. She left some of her personal belongings behind.

She was last seen at a letting agent on Hinton Road on the morning of Saturday 5 March 2016.

She is described as white, around five feet tall, of slim build and with medium length brown hair. When Linda was last seen, she was wearing a skirt, a top and a thin rain coat.

Detective Sergeant Ross Brown, of Dorset Police, said: “Linda has been missing for over a month with officers carrying out enquiries as to her whereabouts, and we are appealing to the public to help find her.

“It is out of character for her to have not contacted relatives for such a lengthy period of time.

“I would urge anyone with information about where Linda may be to call Dorset Police on 101. I would also ask members of the public to call us if they see someone matching her description.

“If Linda sees this appeal, please make contact with us to let us know that you are safe.”

Anyone with information about Linda’s whereabouts should call Dorset Police on 101 quoting incident number 27:127
