Update in relation to alleged attempted robbery at post office in Bournemouth

A man arrested in connection with an alleged attempted robbery at a post office in Bournemouth will face no further police action.

At around 6.50am on Sunday 26 January 2020 Dorset Police was called to the Post Office in Tuckton Road following reports of an attempted robbery at the store. 

A 37-year-old Bournemouth man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of robbery and was released under investigation.

Following further enquiries by officers, he has now been released from the investigation and will face no further police action.
