Update – arrests in connection with alleged aggravated burglary in Bournemouth

Detectives investigating a report of an aggravated burglary in Bournemouth have arrested five people.

Dorset Police was called at 10.07pm on Thursday 19 March 2020 to a report of a group of men wearing balaclavas entering an address on St Peter’s Road.

It was reported that a man had a knife held to his throat and a set of keys and mobile phone were allegedly stolen.

The phone was subsequently located and the victim did not sustain any injuries.

Following enquiries, two Bournemouth boys, aged 16 and 17, and three local men, aged 20, 21 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. The 16-year-old was released under investigation and the other four have been released on police bail as enquiries continue.
