Appeal for information following burglary in Lyme Regis

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a burglary in Lyme Regis.

A home in Charmouth Road was broken into while the occupants were away between Saturday 7 March and Tuesday 10 March 2020. Items stolen include a rare bottle of Chase rosé wine and a quantity of cash.

Police Constable Neil Gauden, of Bridport police, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this burglary and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area between the relevant dates to please contact police.

“I would also like to hear from anyone with any information about who may be responsible for this burglary or who comes across any of the items that were stolen.”
