Appeal for information following burglary in North Dorset

Officers investigating a shed burglary in North Dorset are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

The burglary occurred in French Mill Lane near Shaftesbury between Sunday 12 January and Saturday 18 January 2020. The garden shed was broken into and a large number of lead antique toy soldiers were stolen.

Sergeant Tom Renshaw, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time frame to please contact us.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who has come across antique toy soldiers being offered for sale in unusual circumstances.”
