Witness appeal following theft in Poole

Officers investigating the theft of garden furniture from a pub in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Between 5pm on Friday 3 January and 9am on Thursday 9 January 2020 it is reported that garden furniture was stolen from The Lord Wimborne on Lagland Street.

A total of 19 chairs and five tables were stolen, with a total value of over £2,000.

Police Constable Mari Montgomery, of Poole police, said: “Following enquiries I have obtained images of the stolen items and I am appealing to anyone who has seen them locally or for sale in unusual circumstances to please get in touch.

“I would also urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, or may have captured the incident on CCTV footage, to contact Dorset Police.”
