Theft of bike in Wimborne – CCTV appeal

16 January 2020
Officers investigating the theft of a bike in Wimborne are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

At around 11.40pm on Friday 20 December 2019 the victim, a 17-year-old boy, left his bike outside of TSB bank in The Square when someone stole it.

The bike is described as a black Cannondale mountain bike with silver and red writing on it.

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann, of East Dorset police, said: “The loss of the bike has caused a significant financial impact on the victim, who was working in a nearby shop at the time the bike was stolen in order to earn extra money to buy Christmas presents.

“I have obtained CCTV images of the suspect. While I appreciate they are not of the best quality, I am hoping someone may recognise him from his tattoos.”
