CCTV appeal following theft of mobile phone in Bournemouth

Officers investigating the theft of a mobile phone in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

The victim, a Bournemouth woman aged in her 20s, was in the public waiting area at Bournemouth Town Hall at around 1pm on Wednesday 4 September 2019. A man was then seen on CCTV to pick up the phone and leave the building.

The phone was a Samsung S9 Plus with a purple back and black front.

Police Community Support Investigator Roslyn Curtis, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this theft and I am now in a position to release a CCTV image of the suspect.

“I appreciate the CCTV is not the best quality, but I would urge anyone who recognises this man or who has any information about his identity to please contact us.”
