Update – CCTV appeal following reported thefts from store in Bournemouth

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged theft of items from a store in Bournemouth.

At 7.57pm on Wednesday 17 July 2019 a man reportedly entered the Boots store at Castlepoint Shopping Centre and stole a large quantity of cosmetic products.

It was reported that the same man entered the store again on Wednesday 24 July 2019 at 8.01pm and stole more cosmetic products.

The total value of the items allegedly stolen was £1,786.

Following enquiries and a CCTV appeal, a 53-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested and has been charged with theft. He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 6 September 2019.
