Witness appeal following fail-to-stop collision in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a fail-to-stop collision in Poole.

Dorset Police received a report at 7.55am today, Monday 1 July 2019, of a collision on North Lodge Road, near to the junction with Penn Hill Avenue, involving a car and a bicycle.

The cyclist, a man aged in his 60s, was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

It was reported that the small white car involved failed to stop at the scene.

Police Constable Mark Palmer, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision to please contact us and I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have captured the incident on dashcam.”
