Man arrested on suspicion of drug dealing offences in Boscombe

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drug dealing offences in Boscombe.

At approximately 1.40am on Thursday 16 May 2019 officers were called by town centre CCTV operators to reports of alleged drug dealing taking place near the Royal Arcade on Christchurch Road.

Officers attended and located a quantity of suspected class A drugs and a screwdriver.

A 55-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of a sharp pointed object in a public place and has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
