Reported possible sexual assault in Christchurch – update

Following a CCTV appeal by detectives investigating a report of a possible sexual assault on a woman in Christchurch, people have come forward.

The incident is said to have taken place sometime between 10pm on Monday 6 May and just after midnight on Tuesday 7 May 2019 when the victim left the Thomas Tripp pub in Wicks Lane.

The victim, a local woman aged in her 20s, reported the incident to Dorset Police at 9.50am on Tuesday 7 May 2019.

A man and a woman have now come forward to help officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.
