Road closure following serious road traffic collision at Sixpenny Handley

At 10.24am today, Saturday 21 May 2016, Dorset Police was called to the incident, in which two cars had collided head on, on the B3081 near Sixpenny Handley.

Two people have been taken by air ambulance to hospital in Southampton – one with life-threatening and one with serious injuries.

A road closure has been put in place between Sixpenny Handley and Creech Hill House to enable emergency services to deal with the incident. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.

Officers would like to thank anyone affected by the closure for their patience.
