Shoplifting incident in Broadstone – CCTV appeal

Officers investigating a shoplifting incident in Broadstone are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward, with CCTV images being released.

On Thursday 21 March 2019 a man entered Marks and Spencer Food in Lower Blandford Road on three occasions between 5.15pm and 5.42pm and selected bottles of Champagne to the total value of £362. He left the store without any attempts to pay.

It was reported that he then tried to sell the items locally, but was unsuccessful in doing so.

Police Sergeant Carmel Ryan, of Dorset Police, said: “We have already made a number of enquiries, but I am now in a position to release CCTV images of the suspect.

“I am hoping that somebody will recognise the man pictured and is able to help us identify him.”
