Update – two arrested following reported aggravated burglary in Hamworthy

Two people have been arrested in connection with a reported aggravated burglary in Hamworthy.

The incident occurred at around 7.30pm on Saturday 23 March 2019 in Maryland Road.

It was alleged that five men had attended the address, including one who was in possession of a knife and another in possession of a Taser, and stole a Playstation 4 and rose gold Samsung S7 Edge phone.

Following enquiries, an 18-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and has been released under investigation.

A 17-year-old boy from Ferndown has also been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is assisting detectives with their enquiries.
