CCTV appeal following assault on doorman in Wimborne

Officers investigating an assault on a member of door staff in Wimborne are issuing a CCTV image of the suspect.

At 1.52am on Sunday 23 December 2018 a man was ejected from Wimborne Kebab House in Crown Mead by a male doorman. During the incident the suspect forced the door open and punched the victim in the face. A scuffle then took place between the suspect and victim and members of the public intervened. 
The victim, aged in his 30s and from Bournemouth, sustained a swollen lip.

Police Constable Matt Brennan, of Wimborne police, said: “Following a number of enquiries I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of the suspect. I would ask anyone who recognises this man to please contact Dorset Police.”
