Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a business near Piddlehinton.
The incident happened sometime between 11am on Saturday 23 February and 4.15am on Monday 25 February 2019 at Enterprise Park.
Four shipping containers were broken into belonging to Knighton Countryside Management, with around £45,000 worth of tools and machinery stolen. Items included around 29 chainsaws, blowers, hedge cutters, brushcutters and other equipment.
Police Constable Billy Taylor, of Dorset Police, said: "This incident has had a considerable financial impact on the business and we are determined to identify those responsible.
"Various enquiries are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about the incident or witnessed any suspicious activity on the site over the weekend to contact me.
"I would also like to speak to anyone who has seen any of the items for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances."
