Witness appeal following reported indecent exposure in Weymouth

Officers investigating an alleged indecent exposure in Weymouth are asking for witnessed to come forward – with a man being arrested.

The incident, which took place on the cycle path near the Swannery bridge, was reported to police at 12.29pm on Saturday 29 December 2018.

Officers attended and arrested a 35-year-old man from Weymouth on suspicion of indecent exposure. He is helping officers with their enquiries.

Police Constable Chris Stephens, of Weymouth Police, said: “I believe a number of people were in the area at the time.

“In order to progress our investigation I am appealing for any witnesses to come forward.”
