Witness appeal following road traffic collision in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a road traffic collision in Poole.

At 11.26am today, Thursday 27 December 2018, Dorset Police received a report of a two vehicle collision involving an ambulance and a silver Honda Jazz on Herbert Avenue.  

Road closures were put in place to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. No one suffered any serious injuries and the road was reopened at approximately 1.20pm.

Police Constable Jon Kuspert, of the traffic unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision and witnessed what happened, or the actions of any of the vehicles prior to the incident, to please come forward.

"I would particularly like to speak to anyone who might have captured the collision on dash cam."
