Appeal for witnesses following serious injury collision in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury road traffic collision in Poole.

The collision involving a grey Saab and a red Honda motorcycle occurred at the junction of Ashley Road and Granville Road in Parkstone at around 4pm on Saturday 17 November 2018.

The motorcyclist, a Poole man aged in his 50s, sustained serious injuries to his leg and wrist and was taken to hospital for treatment. 

The driver of the Saab, a local man aged in his 30s, was uninjured.

Police Constable Sean Todd, of the traffic unit, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation to establish the circumstances of the collision.

“I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not already spoken to police.

“If you were driving in the area around the time of the collision and have a dashcam fitted, I am appealing to you to check your footage and get in touch if you have any information that can assist my investigation.”
