Update – CCTV appeal following reported assault in Bournemouth

Two women have attended for voluntary police interviews in connection with a reported assault in a Bournemouth street.

At around 1.30am on Sunday 26 August 2018 a woman aged in her 40s reported that she was assaulted by a group of women outside Havana Winebar in Charminster Road following a dispute inside the premises.

She sustained a broken nose and bruising as a result of the alleged assault and required hospital treatment.

Following a CCTV appeal issued by officers, two Poole women, aged 18 and 27, have attended for voluntary police interviews and have been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
