Update – men due to appear in court in connection with reported burglary near Dorchester

Two men are due to appear in court in connection with a reported burglary near Dorchester.

It was reported at around 7.50am on Sunday 15 October 2017 that a break-in had occurred overnight at The Wardon Hill Trading Post on the Clay Pigeon Industrial Site at Wardon Hill, with several items of high value jewellery, figurines and vintage items stolen.

Following enquiries, a quantity of the items reported stolen were recovered.

A 32-year-old Yeovil man was arrested and a 30-year-old Yeovil man attended a police station to be interviewed in relation to the offence.

Both men have now been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday 3 September 2018 for an offence of burglary.
