Update – men due to appear in court following reported altercation and assault in Bournemouth

Two men are due to appear in court in connection with a reported altercation and assault in Bournemouth.
At around 2.15am on Saturday 16 December 2017 Dorset Police received a report of an altercation outside Truth nightclub on Exeter Road.
A 17-year-old boy from York sustained a head injury and lost several teeth and was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment.
A 26-year-old man from Christchurch was arrested and released under investigation. He has now been issued with a postal requisition for offences of possessing an offensive weapon and inflicting grievous bodily harm and is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 July 2018.
A second man, also aged 26 and from Christchurch, was questioned by officers and subsequently released under investigation. He has now been issued with a postal requisition for an offence of inflicting grievous bodily harm and is also due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Friday 13 July 2018.
