Update – boy due in court in connection with reported criminal damage on bus in Bournemouth

A boy has been charged and is due to appear in court in connection with an incident of reported criminal damage on a bus in Bournemouth.

It was reported that at around 9.49pm on Wednesday 17 January 2018 two male suspects had used an emergency escape hammer to shatter a rear window on the top deck of a Yellow Bus as it travelled through Castle Lane East near to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital.

A 14-year-old boy from Bournemouth has been arrested and charged with criminal damage to property. He is due to appear at Poole Youth Court on Tuesday 10 July 2018.
