Officers investigating the theft of gardening equipment in North Dorset are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
At around 11.40pm on Friday 22 June 2018 it was reported that a burglary had occurred at outbuildings near Shillingstone during the past hour.
The victim discovered a number of milk churns had been taken from a yard and various petrol-powered gardening tools had been stolen from inside one of the buildings.
The tools taken were two Husqvarna chainsaws, a Stihl blower, Stihl hedgetrimmer and a Stihl strimmer.
Police Constable Glen Caddy, of North Dorset police, said: “We are making enquiries into this burglary and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time or who has any information that can assist our investigation to contact police.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who has been offered equipment matching the items taken or come across milk churns for sale in unusual circumstances.”
