Update – appeal following reported theft of ring from jewellers in Bournemouth

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged theft of a high-value ring from a jewellers in Bournemouth.

At 12.30pm on Saturday 28 April 2018 it was reported that a man entered Roses of Bournemouth on Wimborne Road in the Winton area and asked to view two high-value rings.

As members of staff showed the man the rings, it is alleged that he snatched them from the counter and made off. It was reported that following a struggle with a member of staff the man ran out of the store with a sapphire ring.

A 41-year-old man has been arrested and charged with theft and has appeared at Poole Magistrates’ Court. He is next due to appear at the same court on Tuesday 26 June 2018.
