Appeal after theft of fish in Poole

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after the theft of fish from a pond in Poole.

The incident is reported to have occurred sometime between 2.30pm and 10.30pm on Monday 30 April 2018 at an address in the Hythe Road area.

The victim returned to his address and went to feed his fish when he discovered one of the two pumps for the pond was missing.

He then discovered around five carp and around 70 other smaller fish were missing. Each carp was valued at around £150. The value of the other fish is unknown.

Police Community Support Investigator Kate Hann, of Poole police, said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the relevant time to please come forward. I would also like to speak to anyone who has any information about the incident."
