Officers are appealing for information following a burglary at an address in Poole.
The incident happened sometime overnight between Monday 30 April and Tuesday 1 May 2018 at an address on Hamble Road.
The offenders have forced their way into the property and stolen a number of items of machinery including drills, a chainsaw and disk cutter.
Police Constable Warren Cummings, of Poole police, said: "I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident to please come forward.
"We have been making various enquiries into the incident, including CCTV and house-to-house, and I would ask that anyone who is offered such items for sale in suspicious circumstances to please come forward.
“I would advise residents to help protect their properties from burglars by ensuring they carry out some simple crime prevention steps to avoid becoming a victim. Advice can be found at dorset.police.uk.”
