Detectives investigating an alleged burglary in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report at around 7am on Thursday 19 April 2018 of a burglary at an address in Abbotsbury Road that had occurred since 9.30pm on Wednesday 18 April 2018.
It was reported that access had been gained through the rear of the property and a bottle full of coins, an Atlantic Academy blazer, £4 in cash and a wallet containing bank cards and cash had been taken.
A 46-year-old man and a 42-year-old man, both of Weymouth, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary and have been released under investigation.
Detective Constable Emma Swann, of Weymouth CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I am appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to contact police.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who may have come across any of the items that were reportedly stolen.”
