Public appeal to reunite found camera with owner

13 April 2018
Officers are issuing a photo appeal in a bid to reunite a found camera with its owner.

The DJI OSMO 4K camera was found in the hedge of a property in Holdenhurst Avenue in the Littledown area of Bournemouth on Friday 23 March 2018.

Following investigations no similar camera has been reported lost or stolen in Dorset or on the national property database.

Police Constable Iain Fryett, of Bournemouth police, said: “The camera does not contain any information indicating who the owner is and we do not know whether it has been simply lost or stolen.

“I am issuing an image from the SD card in the hope that someone may recognise themselves or the people featured and we can help return it to its owner.

“I would ask the owner or anyone who recognises the two men pictured in the photo to please contact Dorset Police."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55180043805. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
