Man charged in connection with fatal collision near Weymouth

A man arrested in connection with a fatal collision on the B3157 Coast Road near Weymouth has been issued with a postal requisition.
Police were called at 8.34am on Wednesday 17 May 2017 to reports of a collision between a grey BMW 350d and a black Hyundai i30 near to Rodden Lane.
The driver of the Hyundai – a 37-year-old Portishead man – was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A 24-year-old Weymouth man has been issued with a postal requisition for causing death by dangerous driving and is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday 23 April 2018.
